Nearly 10 lakh students of Class 12 are anxiously waiting for their CBSE Board of Intermediate Education results, which will be declared on Sunday at 12.30 pm.

The CBSE exams began on March 1 and concluded on April 22(Tentative). This year, a total of 10,67,900 candidates registered for the Class 12 exam as against 10,40,368 in 2015. This year, a total of 10,67,900 candidates have applied, out of which 44,66,41 are girls and 6,21,259 are boys. “The results will also be available via Android mobile app-DigiResults. As per previous years, the board will also be disseminating its results through IVRS also,” it added.

Steps to Check Online CBSE Board 12th Result 2018 ?

  1. Candidates need to log on through Educational Board Official Website or provided direct link.
  2. Click on “ Senior School Certificate Examination (Class XII ) 2018”.
  3. Please enter your Roll Number.
  4. Click on Submit Button.
  5. CBSE 12th Results with Marksheet displayed on the screen.
  6. Check your result.
  7. Download and Take print out of the results for future usages.

How to check your result & Download Digital Marksheet:

“Starting this year, CBSE will also provide Class XII digital mark sheets in DigiLocker at www.digilocker.gov.in. The DigiLocker account credentials will be sent to students via SMS on their mobile number registered with CBSE,” an official statement said.

The results will also be available via Android mobile app-DigiResults. As per previous years, the board will also be disseminating its results through IVRS also.

CBSE 12th Results Region Wise & Analysis: CBSE declared the results of Class XII examination today and girls once again outperformed boys with a pass percentage of 88.58 per cent. Boys recorded a pass percentage of 78.85 per cent.

Region-wise, South India has done better than others with the overall pass percentage of Thiruvanathapuram region at 97.61 per cent being the highest followed by Chennai which has a pass percentage of 92.63.

Counselling:

The second phase of telecounselling will begin along with the declaration of the results and will continue till June 4, 2018.

Patna, Allahabad, Guwahati, Dehradun record lowest pass percentage in CBSE Class 12 results

At 75.29 %, Patna has the lowest pass percentage in CBSE’s Class 12 results. This is followed by Allahabad which has a pass percentage of 75.93%.

In Patna, just 71.2% boys passed the exam while 72.10% boys passed in Allahabad. Girls performed better in both the regions. A total of 82.51% girls passed the exam in Patna while 82.82% girls passed in Allahabad.

At 97.61%, Thiruvanathapuram Region has the highest pass percentage, followed by Chennai which is 92.63%.

Delhi girl Sukriti Gupta, who aspires to be an engineer and study at IIT, has topped the CBSE Class XII board examination with 99.4 per cent. Gupta, a student of Montfort School, Ashok Vihar, scored 497 marks out of 500. While she has scored a perfect 100 in Physics and Chemistry, she has got 99 marks each in English, Mathematics and Computer Science.

She is preparing for her engineering exams and will appear for the JEE advanced exam tomorrow.

“I was sure of my performance but did not expect to top the exams. This was certainly beyond my expectations,” she told PTI.

“I want to be an engineer and study at IIT Delhi but I have also kept other options open. I don’t believe in excessive planning but taking one step at a time so will decide about the future course after taking the competitive exams,” she added.

In the differently-abled category for the CBSE class 12 results, Mudita Jagota, a student from DAV Public School, Faridabad is the topper with 485 marks.
